Maui Timeshare for Rent

Anyone want to go to Maui? We're renting our timeshare on Kaanapali Beach this year. We own a floating week so you can go anytime except Christmas and New Year's week. It's a one bedroom condo with ocean view, full kitchen, living room (w/ pull out sofa), dining room, huge spa bathroom and washer/dryer. Room accomodates up to 5 people. The resort is absolutely gorgeous (see website)! And the beach in front of the resort is one of the best snorkeling sites in Maui. Our rate is $2,000 for 7 nights (our same room type typically rents for $540/night). If you were thinking about going already, or thinking about going somewhere but not sure where, I highly recommend Maui. Losing My Mind

What were we thinking 8 years ago when we thought it would be fine to buy a 2 bedroom house?? Oh, I remember! We'll probably only be here 5 years and then cash in on our investment and move to a bigger house. Well here we are 8 years later with a kid and a whole lot of stuff and nowhere to put it. I'm losing my mind on a daily basis and we're desperate for a bigger house. But when I really think about it I can't bear the thought of moving. I've changed a lot of things to get the house just how I like it and I don't want to have to start over. Also can't fathom moving away from our neighbors. We're comfortable here and I'm not comfortable enough with our jobs right now to take the plunge. So I'm left with scheming up storage solutions and constantly getting rid of stuff. On the bright side, it gives me a reason for an Ikea trip where I'm sure to find all sorts of awesome storage solutions.

All Things Beautiful

I have to share this awesome website I found- Etsy.com. Everything is handmade by thousands of different artists and much of it is surprisingly affordable. You have to check it out! I could easily spend hours at a time on this site. I want to see everything but it's impossible- there's just way to much. I suggest if you find something you're thinking about buying, make sure you write down the seller before going on to look at other stuff or you'll never find it again. It happened to me and I just spent the last hour trying to find the item again. It's maddening!

DMB

Just purchased our tickets for Dave Matthews! We're so excited, it's always the best part of the summer! Now we just have to keep our fingers crossed for no rain. Back in the day we used to go to 3 or 4 shows a year traveling around with nothing better to do. Those were definitely the good ole days. I'll never forget the time Brian and I drove to North Carolina to see Dave & Tim at Wake Forest. We turned around and came home the next morning. 16 hours on the road... well worth it! :)

Miles Walks

Miles turned 10 months on Feb 8th and I can hardly believe it. If I had one wish it would be to slow down time. He is already walking! Yes, he recently abandoned his bear crawl completely. He's quite determined and seems to have no fear. He has too many places to be to let a little thing like falling down get in his way.
